Maribelle pursed her lips as she saw the rather grotesque black eye that Gaius was sporting. "... And what happened? Were you finally caught robbing some innocent person's house and you were mercilessly beaten for it?"
” If that’s what you want to hear, then yes. Otherwise no. ”
“ See, Twinkles? That’s exactly why I didn’t wanna’ tell ya. I knew you wouldn’t believe me.
The thief turned away from the other without so much as mumbling a thanks. He ignored Maribelle’s other questions as he tried to make his getaway from her, wanting to end this conversation as quickly as possible.
“Some girls like my gut, even if it sounds surprising to you. ”
Gaius began to declothe himself, despite the fact that she was still there. He stopped when he had nothing but a t-shirt and his pants, turning to face the other once more.
“ Maybe you should make your judgement on men based on their personality, not their looks, Twinkles. ”
Maribelle pursed her lips as she saw the rather grotesque black eye that Gaius was sporting. "... And what happened? Were you finally caught robbing some innocent person's house and you were mercilessly beaten for it?"
” If that’s what you want to hear, then yes. Otherwise no. ”
Maribelled sighed loudly, grabbing her staff.
“Kneel down. Heaven knows if I can reach that beautiful eye of yours."
She may despise him, but she felt it was her duty to heal stricken comrades, even Gaius.
He did as he was told, scrunching his body down so she could reach his swollen eye. While Gaius may be surprised that Maribelle was offering to heal him he was more surprised that she didn’t pry about where it had come from.
Gently touching her healing staff to Gaius’ face, the magic went to work, and soon, his black eye was green and yellow rather than the angry purples, reds, and blacks it had been.
"There, I’m afraid that’s all that my Heal can do for you, however…” she narrowed her eyes suspiciously, “where did such a nasty mark come from, Gaius? If I am wrong about you being beaten by a homeowner for thieving, than what other reason could there be?”
Mind you, she was prying for her own curiosity, she didn’t give a damn if Gaius dropped dead then and there.
Emerald gaze diverted away from the other after she had healed his eye, the lollipop in mouth twitching quite a bit.
“Well uh… There was a woman that was gettin’ robbed by some thieves so I uh… I saved her and got into a skirmish and they punched me. No big deal. ”
Of all places for Maribelle to follow him to, it had to be the men’s shower tent. Luckily there was no one else in the vicinity nor had Gaius begun to undress. Nevertheless he spun around on his heel, facing the troubadour with a smirk on his lips, ready to point out her mistake very smugly.
“ As you should very well know this shower tent is for males only . I can understand if you want to scope out our bodies but could you refrain from doing it while I’m here? ”
Maribelle pursed her lips as she saw the rather grotesque black eye that Gaius was sporting. "... And what happened? Were you finally caught robbing some innocent person's house and you were mercilessly beaten for it?"

Lips paused just as they were about to part open to let a sucker slide in, emerald irises sliding over to the manakete girl who had posed the question.
